The 23-year-old Nico Paolo Javelona is the youngest son of
Briton, who passed away in 2011, and Carmen Javelona of Brgy. Villamonte in
Bacolod City.
Javelona, who celebrated his birthday last October 25,
finished high school at the West Negros University, where he played for the
Junior Mustangs, and was recruited by the NU Bulldogs.
He said he has been a varsity player since first year in
high school and it is his dream to play in the national basketball
competitions.
Javelona has been playing for the NU in the UAAP for four
years now.
