My Top 10 Worst TV Shows 2014

     Goodbye 2014!  Hello 2015!   

In saying goodbye to the Year of the Horse and welcoming the Year of the Sheep, I’d like to share with you my list of 2014’s worst TV shows. 

                 

     Okay? Here we go!

     

1.  Its Showtime

         (ABS-CBN)

•        Sine Mo ‘to segment is annoying.  It's a lot of nonsense.  It's a deliberate waste of time.

•     The hosts’ jokes are 

     nauseatingly corny.

•     One contest with only 3 or 2 contestants lasts for almost an hour (including the commercial breaks).  It’s a bit much.  Why?

        a.)  Too much spiel by the hosts that are nonsense most of   

       the time.

b.)  The audience were asked to raise their score for each 

       contestant and then the host picks one of them and ask    

       him/her to explain why he gave that score.

           c.)  Each of the 3 judges will give his/her comment for each 

                 contestant but before that he/she will greet first his mom or

                 dad, friends and relatives, thank his sponsors and invite the

                 televiewers to watch his concert or movie or show or 

                 whatever.   He’ll do that over and over again everyday for 
                 one whole week.  Oh, my G. 

  

        

2.  PBB All In

•   I’ve already said it, I won’t      say it again.

 

   

3.  Anna Karenina

             (GMA 7)

   

•      Sorry, I know Anna Karenina is a 2013 TV series of GMA 7 but I included this one to complete my list of My Worst TV shows for 2014.  After all,  it deserves to be recognized as one, choz!

•     The character of Valerie Concepcion is unbelievable.  I cant find a logicsl reason why her greed for money turned her into a heartless monster.

•       I can hardly believe that she’s the mother of Derek Monasterio’s character.

•       I cant believe too that Maybelline dela Cruz is the mother of Kristal Reyes’ and Kathleen Hermosa’s characters.

•        Furthermore,  Yasmien Kurdi, as Maggie, is too young to be   the mother of Anna Karenina.  She was barely 24 years old then.  Anyare?!

•       I find it hard to sympathize with the characters meeting one   misfortune after another.   Its because something is missing.  Yup, the very heart of the writer is missing.   

      

4. Strawberry Lane

            (GMA 7)

   

•       Bad script. 

•       The scene where the character of Kim Rodriguez was supposed to be launched in a fashion show is very ridiculous.  Again, anyare?!

     

5.  Banana Nite (Daily   
        servings)

             (ABS-CBN)

•      Alex Gonzaga is disturbingly over acting

•      Most of the gags are lousy if not corny

•       The Balitang Six Six segment is really sickening

     

6.  Banana Split Extra Scoop

                  (ABS-CBN)

•   Gags are corny

• Some segments are badly written like the segment of Ryan Bang

     

7.  Walang Tulugan With The
           Master Showman

                   (GMA 7)

     

•       I don’t  know why Kuya Germs allows some sarap batukang teens to host the show.

•      So many teens, so little time ...

•      Some segments are nonsensical like A Ewan which makes Aki and Kuya Germs look like the dumb and the dumber.

    

8.   Maynila

10.  Bet Ng Bayan

         (GMA 7) 

•   I guess it’s the format that makes it less interesting to watch, unlike The Voice of The Philippines and Pilipinas Got Talent which never fail to bring excitement to the televiewers.
