Lem Lorca’sWater Lemon,” another drama shot in another coastal town (Mauban, Quezon) took three awards: Best Actress for Tessie Tomas, Best Supporting Actor for Lou Veloso and Best Screenplay for Lilit Reyes.

Prime Cruz’s romantic comedy, “Sleepless” won Best Actor for Dominic Roco and the NETPAC special award for Best Film while the children’s comedy, “Patintero: Ang Alamat ni Meng Patalo” rounded up the winners’ circle with the Audience Choice and Gender Sensitivity awards.

In the DocQ Documentary competition, Sheron Dayoc’sCrescent Rising,” a look at the Mindanao conflict from three varied perspectives won the NETPAC award for Best Documentary.
