Nora Aunor & Piolo Pascual:  Best Actress & Best Actor

       Rare shots by yours truly of two big names in the industry -- Nora and Piolo in one frame! The legendary superstar and multi-awarded actress MS NORA AUNOR won Best Actress (for Dementia 2014 Movie) and PIOLO PASCUAL won Best Actor (for "Starting Over Again") in the 31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies 2015 held last March 8, in the posh The Theater of Solaire Hotel,,,

        This is La Aunor's 5th trophy from the PMPC, her previous Best Actress wins were for her unforgettable film performances -- "Merika" by Gil Portes in 1985 (Ate Guy was the 1st Star Best Actress recipient), "Andrea, Paano Ba Ang Maging Isang Ina" by Gil Portes in 1991, "Ang Totoong Buhay Ni Pacita M." by Elwood Perez in 1992, and "The Flor Contemplacion Story" by Joel Lamangan in 1996. 

       After 18 years, Nora got a new Star trophy for DEMENTIA, directed by Perci Intalan. 

       Meanwhile, this is Piolo's 2nd Best Actor honor from the PMPC Star Awards for Movies (tied with John Lloyd Cruz for "The Trial"), his first was for "Don't Give Up On Us" by Joyce Bernal in 2007, although Piolo also won Best Supporting Actor for "Dekada '70" by Chito S. Rono in 2003.
